I could run a marathon right now.

A test:

For the first 10 weeks of his life, Tristan would ONLY sleep:

A) In my arms
B) In my sling
C) Next to me in bed
D) All of the above

D. Easy test.

The doctor told me to keep practicing putting him down. So we did. There was crying and paci plugging and rocking and shushing. Then one night a few weeks ago he fell asleep in his crib. Sure, he still woke up 1-2 times per night to eat but it was a success. He’s been in his crib at night ever since.

Last night was another success. He slept from 9 pm to 6 am. I slept from 9:30 pm to 6 am. I feel….I don’t even know. Amazing. I know this was probably a fluke but I don’t care.

There’s also no point to this post. Again, I don’t care.

I am well rested. And so is he. At least for today.

First, I’m so happy for you (and Tristan!) Second, I’m so jealous. But really, I’m very happy that you guys both got some decent sleep!!

Awesome!

The first time our baby slept through the night, we kept waking up expecting her to want to be fed.
